BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL
- In 1973, when Ruudt opened Gallery Ekster, in Leeuwarden, he began collecting jewelry by the artists he showed.
- Next, from 1990 to 2000 Ruudt bought student work from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie; Konstfack - University of Arts, Crafts, and Design; and Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School.
- Most recently, Ruudt and Leo, Ruudt’s husband, have been collecting work by artists they love.
For a minimum $20 donation, you can be part of this exclusive and interactive AJF Live event, and at the same time you'll help support all of the programming and editorial content you rely on throughout the year. We only ask for your support a few times a year, so we hope you’ll help out now.
How to register for the event: After you purchase your ticket, you'll receive a registration link for the talk. (Sign up at least two hours before the event to ensure you receive your registration link in time.)
What if you want to donate but can’t attend the AJF Live event, or live in a part of the world where this time doesn't work for you? You can still support AJF! You'll receive a private link afterward, yours to view at any time.
